Connectivity is a critical enabler of economic growth, digital innovation and social inclusion. Communication networks underpin how we deliver public services, run businesses and connect communities, from data centres and cloud infrastructure to AI deployment and advanced manufacturing, making them essential to the UK's position as a leader in technological innovation.
At techUK, the Communications Infrastructure and Services programme brings together industry from across the digital infrastructure ecosystem to shape policy that enables investment and deployment of terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks. We work with members to develop clear policy asks of government and regulators, creating the right market conditions for connectivity to flourish.
techUK's working groups and council are focused on removing barriers to infrastructure deployment, enabling next-gen technologies, and ensuring that policy supports the delivery of better public services. Through convening industry and engaging with government, we help identify where infrastructure investment can power economic growth and productivity, as well as ensure people and communities across the UK are connected.
